Mezirow (as referred to in Taylor and Cranton, 2012) communicates that, "in spite of the fact that it is clear that our hobbies and needs change in the diverse seasons of our lives, improvement in adulthood may be comprehended as a learning procedure" (p. 89), and "in adulthood, educated choices require not just consciousness of the source and connection of our insight, qualities, and emotions additionally basic reflection on the legitimacy of their suspicions or premises" (p. 76).
