Meet Gigi Cunningham, a 17 year old model with down syndrome. Gigi have dreams of working in the entertainment industry, not only does she want to work in the entertainment industry, she want's to use her platform to raise awareness for the Down Syndrome community to put an end to bullying.
According to The Mighty, several years ago Gigi was mercilessly taunted by her peers at school. One day Gigi came home in tears after being teased by a group of girls. After a long talk with her mother, the two figured out a way to move forward. In October Gigi will serve as one of the three representatives in a National Down Syndrome Society called the Buddy Walk in Urbaba, Illinois
