Claddagh Rings Resting inside a little velvet purple box was a ring that my grandmother would pull out and show it to me. The ring didn’t have any jewels or shiny gems on it, it was just plain gold. There a pair of hands holding a heart and a crown was resting on top of the heart. I didn’t understand the meaning behind the ring until I was older to fully grasp the meaning of a Claddagh ring.
