Summary - Ever since the discovery of Mars, astronauts and astronomers have been captivated by its existence, and as a result, it has spurred many ideas in our imagination, such as findings of aliens or water. However, the latter turns out to be true. Recent data received by NASA’s Curiosity Rover confirms that water is located on Mars during certain seasons. Furthermore, a recent study suggests that hydrated salts called perchlorates are situated in dark streaks called recurring slope lineae, which produces liquid water at a certain temperature. A group of researchers have also used a tool called the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, which studies the composition of the dark streaks. The researchers are utilizing this tool in order to observe the
