Lufkin, my home town, is a wonderful place to live. First of all, it is very friendly with a cozy feel. Everyone here loves the town and all it has to offer. Lufkin is located deep in the piney woods of east Texas.
There are many things for people to do in Lufkin. Lufkin is very well known for high school football. Crowds fill the stadium on Friday nights to cheer on the panthers. Other fun activities inclue, a staking rink, bowling alley, bounce house, and laser tag. The Lufkin Zoo is a fine attraction for all ages. Some animals here include, a reptile house, girraffes, hippos and big cats. For just a few dollars, one may take a train ride around the zoo property. My favorite pasttime was being outside. My dad and I would pack up every weekend
