Background Lisa Rowe grew up in a very impoverished community, by the time she was five, she had seen too much for a young girl. Her mother was in many non-monogamous relationships. Some of these men had sexually assaulted Lisa as well as physically abuse her. The first incident of sexual abuse happened by one of her mom’s male suitors at age four. When she told her mom, her mom blamed her and became very upset with Lisa and hit her. She also abused drugs and alcohol in front of Lisa, and would often neglect Lisa and forget to feed her. In school her teachers use to say she was very disruptive and was often sent out of class because of it. Her peers rejected her for being “dirty’ which caused Lisa to be very upset. Lisa did not develop social cues due to the environment she grew up in, so she did not know how to process this. She processed it with anger, bullying, and violence, this behavior had been reinforced since an early age. While developing she was constantly exposed to violence and taught when you are unhappy you react this way. By age ten she is expelled from school due to threatening bodily harm to a fellow classmate, her aggression is often shown towards men. This is probably due to the incident of sexual abuse when she was four and the physical abuse from men that she experienced and witnessed. When she was sent to her grandparents she really started to act out. Stealing drugs as well as shoplifting, staying out all night, being sexually promiscuous, and bullying her grandmother. Lisa again lacks empathy and tended to be very callous and cynical of others, especially other patients. She was very cocky, arrogant, and acted like others were beneath her. She did not respect the rules of the hospital or the regulations. She would often lie to get what she wanted or manipulate people into getting what she wanted. Lisa had a very impulsive and reckless personality, one night she had woken up Susann and had her escape with her. She had no regard for Susann’s safety and just left her when she found Daisy’s body. Lisa became irritated very easily and would become angry at the smallest things. She had lack of remorse and would often rationalize her behavior for having mistreated or hurt another. Lisa had superficial charm which she would use to manipulate people into doing or getting what she wanted. She was promiscuous and participated in sexual acts for money. She had an addiction to nicotine and prescription
