Law of attraction is the belief that “like attracts like” and by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, can bring positive or negative results. For many years law of attraction has been around, but yet few people actually knew about it . Law of attraction was originally for the select few, but in more recent years the world is becoming more and more aware of it. The concept of law of attraction states that through the laws of the universe one can manifest one’s own desires. In the belief of law of attraction God is the Source energy, which connects individuals to everyone else on this earth. Source energy is inside everyone, and anything one asks for, one shall receive. The movie was inspired by Thomas Troward’s “Edinburgh Lectures on Mental Science.” The movie was made by modern law of attraction teachers and based largely upon the book of the same name by Rhonda Byrne. “The Secret” states that the greatest people on earth knew about The Secret, from presidents, to industrial leaders and social innovators. The lesson presented in both the book and the movie suggests that the one infinite power that we all abide by is the law of the universe. It is universal belief. In law of attraction there is a 3 step process, that’s been around for 2,000 years, the first step is ask; make a command to the universe. The universe responds to you because god is inside of you and god ultimately says yes, so the universe must abide by source that is inside of you. The second step is believed, believe that is already yours. You don’t need to worry about how it will happen; all you need to know is that it will come. Step 3 is received. When you feel good you’re putting yourself in the position to get what you desire, you have to feel it in order to receive it. You will attract everything you need (The Secret 2006). How inline a person is with the universe will determine how long a person will receive what they desire from the universe.
