This terrible event completely scarred the nation. Everyone was demanding justice and an explanation as to why someone could do such a caustic thing. Much research was found and put into the idea behind Lanza’s motives. For instance, as a kid, Adam had attended Sandy Hook Elementary School. He was always a quiet kid and a different kid. His previous teachers had reported that he always had uncanny behavior and as an elementary schooler, he had written a story, which involved a grownup who harmed children. Also, he was obsessed with the idea of mass-murders and the shootings at Columbine. Along with this, he struggled with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and different form of Autism.
