Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” This quote represents the factors necessary for building a strong team. In the text, “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson and “La Vida Robot” by Joshua Davis, they both discuss the different and similar components of a victorious team. In addition, the authors Davis and Isaacson discuss the challenges that their teams had to face throughout their works. When it comes to building an effective team Isaacson believes that teamwork and coordination is essential. He conveys his perspective in “Steve Jobs” where he shows the importance of teamwork and coordination. Like Isaacson, Davis feels that and effective team requires team support as supported by the article, “La Vida Robot”. As you can see, Davis and Isaacson believe that working together and team coordination is essential for a successful team in order to achieve the intentions that were once created.…show more content…
For example, in “La Vida Robot” Davis states, “While other teams machined and welded metal frames, the guys broke out the rubber glue and began assembling the PVC pipe.” In other words, they worked as a team in order to create the project and worked hand in hand. Them working together proves their teamwork to create their functional pipe in their project. Another example of teamwork is in the text “Steve Jobs,” when Isaacson states, “If so, you might like to come to a gathering of people with like - mended interests.” For this purpose, when people with the same interest come together more brains are provided, therefore having a triumphant team.
