Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons are one of the many groups of people who face disparities in receiving health care services. In order to address the needs of the LGBT community, health and social service providers must create a cultural competent environment that serve LGBT persons. Specifically, there is a lack of culturally competent organizations that address the needs of LGBT older adults.
