My famous Mississippian is Kent Hull. Hull was born on January 13, in 1961. Kent was born in Pontotoc Mississippi. Kent went to high school at Greenwood High from 1975-1978. Hull played basketball and football in high school. After high school he went to college at Mississippi State University from 1979-1982. Kent played football in 1979 to 1982 at Mississippi State. Kent was a four year starter for State. In 1979, Kent got First team All-SEC Freshman. Hull got Second team All-SEC in 1980.
