Journal Entry #2 – Insurgent Within the middle chapters, Tris and Tobias have decided to go to Candor headquarters to meet with half of their Dauntless friends. But when they get there, they are both arrested and undergo a truth serum trial. They both tell Jack Kang—Candor Leader—the events that occurred during the Erudite attack in the book of Divergent. They also spill their deepest regrets, leaving Christina devastated over Will’s death, caused by Tris. An unexpected plot twist was when the Dauntless rebels from Erudite headquarters attacked Candor headquarters.
