bruising that needed to heal. It took a lot of work, but it was expected to take longer, my recovery was much quicker than predicted by the hospital staff. In the back of my mind I was worried about Robert’s safety at home and refused to lay in a hospital bed while he was home alone with Jordan.
After months of healing, I was once again back to my normal daily life. Robert grew to be a happy little boy and the abuse continued, even throughout two more pregnancies. I gave birth to a little girl, Nevaeh, and another little boy, Jayden. Both healthy, happy, and absolutely wonderful. After Jayden was born though, the abuse started with my daughter. I feared for what could happen to her and packed a bag and ran away with my children to a women’s
