Although, discrimination isn’t totally eradicated, it's still present in ways that people never thought it would be. Discrimination within a person's same race is beginning to raise awareness, especially that of the Black community. More and more dark skinned Blacks are looked down upon when compared with light skinned Blacks. S. Mary Wills discusses her personal experience with intracial discrimination and how it affected her.
