In 1982, Steve Jobs was giving a speech when receiving the ”Golden Plate” award from the Academy of Achievement in Washington, D.C. This was his one and only chance to talk about his new plan for the upcoming teens about how to make their lives and the world better. Jobs speech told us that the new teens would need to have updated technology and that they are smarter than we expected. Steve wants everyone to have the opportunity to pursue a high school and college career. Job’s founded Apple in 1976, which began as a 4-person operation in his father’s garage. By 2011, it became the world’s most valuable company by market capitalization. In today's world, everyone has a new update on phones. Steve Jobs created Apple Computers Inc.
