Specific details and evidence why this evidence supports thesis and main point (2 pieces of details): France’s history makes France interesting because French history is very unique in the way that France and England had a war called the Hundred Years’ War which lasted from 1337 to 1453 and France ended up winning. Another interesting part of French history is when King Charlemagne (Holy Roman Emperor) died his three grandsons divided the empire between themselves which were three territories that roughly correspond with modern day France, Italy, and Germany.
