Inca Empire Vs Frankish Empire
308 Words2 Pages
The Inca Empire and the Frankish Empire were both leading powers in their time periods and their path to prominence would naturally seem completely different, they have striking similarities: the regional state they inherited, leaders who helped transform their kingdoms into empires and the way they became an empire-- gaining land. However, the Inca and Frankish Empires should not be thought of as parallels, they have many notable differences, such as, the type of government they put into effect and the way that they expanded their influence.
Both the Inca and Frankish Empire emerged at a time when there was a power vacuum, due to the collapse of the dominant Empire in the region, the Roman Empire for the Franks and the Huari-Tiahuanaco Empire.
