When DANNY DRAHOS (32) returns to his childhood neighborhood and sees his old tree house, memories come flooding back of his days growing up with his childhood friends, GEORGE NEOMONITIS, NORMAN PEREZ aka NOONEY, and JIMMY. Together they form the “core four” … they vow to be friends forever. In their special tree house, they bury their childhood treasures.
Their friendship is tested when Danny’s father gets sick and dies. The friends rally together. Danny also introduces conflict into the core four when he invites a girl, JEANETTE, to hang out with them.
Danny watches the videotape that his father left him. His father tells him to believe in himself and treat others with respect. He reminds him that everyone deserves a second chance.
