People honor veterans every day. They honor them in the simple things like saying the pledge of allegiance and praying for them. I honor them almost every day too. I honor them at school when we say the pledge of allegiance and I also honor them by praying. I have veterans in my family. My great, great uncle and Great Grandfather were in the World War II. Both of my grandfathers were in the army. My dad’s dad served in Vietnam, but he is now dead. My grandmother has a picture of my grandfather and a folded American flag in her bedroom. I honor him by putting an American flag on his grave on Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day. Now I have family members in the armed forces. My uncle and two of my cousins are in the air force.
