Labriah Moore Mr. Matthew Bogdan English 101 09 October 2014 Imagine coming home and your parents inform you that your family must relocate and that the only option is a homeless shelter. Everyone has a different background or life story that brought them up to that point. Without a doubt a person that has not touched base or had experience with homelessness cannot really explain with full meaning. Homelessness is such a broad topic when a person may think of the word homeless they will have different reason why a person should or should not be homeless. While some may say we were all given the same opportunity in life, some use the environmental upbringing as an excuse. This leads to homelessness due to the fact that victims of sexual offense want to remove themselves from these stressful situations. Poverty is a state of being where a person does not have the funds or available resources for clothing, food, water and hygienic products. Poverty and homelessness can be similar in many ways because with both the person is becoming dependent on others for their general welfare of survival.
