Once upon a time, Zeus looked down from Mt. Olympus and saw the most beautiful woman, Hermione. Hermione was known by her friends as a witch; one that would cast evil spells on mortals. She would make other women ugly and unwanted by men or make the men, that would disregard her, die a slow, painful death, all so she could have the attention she craved. The village exiled her to an abandoned island off the coast of Greece, because everyone feared her. She brought shame to her family and no one wanted anything to do with her. Families would no longer name their young girls Hermione, out of fear they would become malevolent witches much like her. This angered Hera intensely. Hera observed Hermione for a while. Watching Zeus shower Hermione with gifts made Hera jealous, for Zeus never showed affection to her; and when she noticed Hermione was pregnant, Hera planned her revenge. As Hermione gave birth to her son, Draco, Hera cursed her, “As you give birth, you will feel pain like a thousand knives ripping through you.” The pain became so unbearable, poor Hermione gave up and ultimately died, leaving Draco, helpless and alone, on the island.
Without a mother, Draco decided he did not want to be alone anymore and went to live with his father, Zeus, on Mt. Olympus. Angry with Draco living on the Mountain, Hera put a curse on Draco; turning him into a dragon. Draco not knowing what he did to be turned into such a beast flew from village to village destroying any happiness he could find.
Draco felt, “If I cannot have joy in my life, then no one else should either!” For the rest of his life, the citizens of Greece feared Draco and his fiery breath. Draco then met a donkey by the name of Donkey and had dragodonkey babies that were extremely painful to give birth to.
