Introduction
Legends vs, Reality, Billy the Kid legend against the reality what really happened in his life and what people would make up as they go in life. People never knew who his real father was they said he was an immigrant from Irish.
Birth
Henry McCarty was born in NYC grew up without a father figure until the age of five, him and his mother lived in the slums of New York. People say his father was a Irish immigrant that left his mother during pregnancy. His mother was an independent women for a period of time.
Remarried
At the age of ten Henry’s mother would meet another man, a couple of months go by and his mother would remarry. His only thought was its going to be a better life for him and his mother. Henry wanted to be alone most his life and wanted no part of a good boy life. Legend Billy the kid started his fame of being an outlaw at the young age of sixteen years of age he killed a man who would mess with him and wouldn’t stop. The kid was said to have killed twenty-nine people in his life. He was on the run from the law.
Moral
The main idea of the story is the Legend vs Reality, what people thought of Billy the kid and what they really knew of him. Billy the kid was and Rebel, who wanted money and respect. The kid wanted people to know who he was.
Reality
Henry was a boy of loyalty and respect but at the brake of his expansion he didn’t want to be a puppet for people no more. He wanted the people to know what his name was the kid fell in love with the crime life. People I wanted to hear more about the kid and so he continues to ride with his crew.
Outlaw
The kid was on the run from the law when he killed his first victim at the age of sixteen he really wasn’t scared of the law he just loved the feeling of being some to look for.
