Media is basically the foundation of present day generations, everyone has a type of cellular device or a different piece of technology where they can go into different branches of media for instance social media; Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and so many others that are within the internet base. As I open my facebook and Instagram page already I can see pictures of “half naked girls” and provocative things that revile these women as a sexual object and to think anyone can access this, so just imagine a young girl somewhere out there is also viewing the same thing. I agree with Jean Kilbourne on how girls get the message from early age that what their value about themselves is looks, and the heartbreaking thing is boys do get that message as well.…show more content…
I do not watch TV often but when I do you can see most of these shows are displaying women as “sex objects” and it makes me upset because as a guy my moral is: do not view a women as an object their value is worth more than myself. Women are humans they are not a piece of meat to pounce on or somebody to “hit it and quit it” which is dejectedly a phrase men often use and it makes think how sick they are for not having a heart towards women, but I mean who could blame them this is what they watch every day on TV or see on social media as well, this is what the media portray women as a “sex
