"Guantanamo Bay is a "legal" black whole that plays host to a variety of human rights violations. The detention center is known for the human rights violations committed at that facility and the international community has failed to take actions to successfully close the facility. Congress passed the Authorization for the Use of Military Force which granted the President the authority “to use all necessary and appropriate force against those planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks” against the United States of America.
