The piece the group and I had composed is a modern day version of Greensleeves. It took many trial and error runs deciding what we’d write. Individually we had to come up with a couple of verses of our own, then try and put them together. Seeing the work of Greensleeves revolved around a love story that didn’t work out so well, we tried to incorporate that as well. In the sense of a guy trying to go after this lady.
