Letting go of your most beloved things will be for the best of you and others. “He’ll have to let his goldfish go, his magic goldfish, his friend.”(8) Sergei didn’t want to resurrect Yoni so the magic goldfish wouldn't leave him but in the end he did to let Yoni live. Have you ever felt that what you're doing doesn’t feel good but you know it's for the best of others and yourself. In my personal experience I didn’t want to let go of my childhood and probably a lot of people didn’t either but in the end it’s the best for them and myself. Change may sometimes seem hard and sad but change is for the better of those around you and myself. “I remember the silence of his lost power, the red buffalo painted on his chest.”(39) the boy was remembering old days. The father in “Without Title” was a hunter and very close connected to the buffalo. The father had this relationship with the buffalo because the buffalo provided a lot for the hunter when he was hunted. Do to certain circumstances the father had to forget about hunting and the buffalo for the best.…show more content…
In”What of this goldfish would you wish” A lonely man doesn't want to save Yoni whom he accidentally killed. Sergei doesn't want to save Yoni because he doesn't want to use up his last wish. When Sergei uses up his last wish he will have to let go of the magic goldfish who granted him three wishes “He’ll have to let his goldfish go, his magic goldfish, his friend.”(18) After a minute Sergei agrees and uses his last wish to revive Yoni even though Sergei doesn't want to be left
