Financial statement analysis is a process that is conducted to review and assess an entity’s, financial statements in order to gain a better understanding of the entity’s financial health, in this case the entity is Virgin Australia Holdings Limited [VAH]. The data in all financial statements are analysed by stakeholders such as investors and creditors to help them understand how well the business is performing, they do this through the use of many ratios including: profitability ratios, asset utilization ratios, liquidity ratios, valuation ratios, and leverage ratios.
