Knowledge vs Ignorance Everyone often lets their lack of knowledge affect their opinions, you could find support for that statement in the story Fahrenheit 451. The story is a battle between Ignorance and knowledge. In the story when books are burned knowledge is being destroyed. The society’s equal views on books being worthless is passing on ignorance. Montag questions his own and the societies values when he meets Clarisse. Ray Bradbury is teaching us to take the time to gain knowledge of a subject instead being ignorant and judging it.
