Explain Why Schools Should Be Switched To Prom Instead Of Friday

We, the Classes of 2016 and 2017 propose that prom be switched to a Saturday instead of Friday April 8th. With prom being held on a Friday, many students lose the ability to attend between spring sports holding games, and some students not being able to drive or get a ride seeing parents will be working. Our school should want to students to attend prom and not have to choose between other events going on at our high school
Also with the prom being held where it is on a Friday some students drivers might get in a situation that different than Saturdays traffic cause accidents. On Fridays more people are trying to get home at 5-7 the same time that we will be driving to prom leaving students in a situation that might end badly.
The student
