Evgenia Medvedeva is a Russian figure skater born on November 19, 1999 (18). She is new to the Olympics, but she isn’t the new kid on the block. Evgenia Medvedeva is a two-time European champion, a two-time world champion, and two-time Winter Olympic silver medalist, at 18 years old. She has accomplished many superb things in her life with hard work, talent, perseverance, and determination. She is a very interesting, talented person.
Some of Medvedev's strengths are athleticism, artistry on the ice, and storytelling. Medvedev clearly is fascinated with death, because death is put into many of her routines. Surprisingly, Evgenia Medvedeva enjoys listening to k-pop, also known as korean music, and enjoys anime. Little boys and girls typically start figure skating at ages three and four. Medvedeva, like every other little girl started skating at a young age, hoping she would be on tv. Only few people are able to go to the Winter Olympics, so when she heard she was going to be on, she was beyond excited.
