The questions Pinker ask wouldn’t be something most people would feel comfortable discussing with just anyone. They are thought provoking and conversional. Although I’m someone who engages in conversations about things that Pinker describes as dangerous, the thought of talking about those with just anyone makes me nervous. I decided to focus on question fourteen, “Would it be consistent with our moral principles to give parents the option of euthanizing their newborns with birth defects that would consign them to a life of pain and disability?” This isn’t a easy question to answer and it's not something people normally talk about. I won’t pretend to have a clear and easy answer to this question, but I don’t believe sweeping issues like this
