Imagine going through a lonely path somewhere in Colorado, suddenly a grizzly bear jumps out at you and your father. This is how Stephen Quinn feels in The Eleventh Plague. After a heated conflict between China and the US, China released a plague that was simple and very contagious, killing millions. The survivors have a dormant version of the disease. Now, Stephen is alone with his father scavenging and living off of the past’s supplies. They trade and follow routes to keep themselves alive. After reading this book I had an entirely different perspective on post apocalyptic books. It accurately portrayed how it would be like if the population of the United States was wiped out, and how it is to live off of the scraps and other meaningless
