Virtual Reality is defined as an interactive, computer-based multimedia environment in that the user becomes the participant during a computer-generated world (Kim, Park, Yuk, Lee, & Lee, 2000; Onyesolu M. , 2009; Onyesolu & Akpado, 2009). Virtual Reality is an artificial place which is given to the user in a way that he or she will accept it as a real world. When user experiences the VR on a computer, two of five senses (sight and sound) will be used to create an immersive environment. (Rouse, 2015). The best effective type of virtual reality is a 3-D image that can be interactive at a PC via manipulating keys or the mouse so that the content of the images moves in some way or zooms in or out. Travel expenses and fees will increase quickly and vacation days will be more restricted. When the VR market is ready and fulfills user’s need, people will not spend time and money for a real travel. He also thinks that when you have a virtual visit, you are not forced to stand incommodious airplanes or feeling jet-lagged. Uncomfortable hotel beds and tipping are the other disadvantages of travelling. But with virtual travel all you need could be a couple of minutes and a comfortable chair to enjoy a new destination. This statement-as it has been stated before- biased to people who are unable to travel because of financial or physical reasons. Virtual Travel platforms help those people to experience the world with this new technology. VR destination marketing simulates real visits and also the virtual experience will offer nearly real-life experiences (Pakanen & Arhippainen, 2014). Also by using VR systems, user can make better-informed decisions and also achieve more realistic expectations, which lead to a satisfactory vacation (Hobson & Williams, 1995).Series of hotels and digital companies such as Marriott, Facebook, Shangri-La, Expedia, Aldiana and etcetera have been involved in virtual tourism technology and tested MVP use cases for virtual travel. For instance, Facebook uses 360 Videos that allows the users interact with videos via smartphone or PC . Marriott hotels uses virtual reality tourism with the goal of renovating the brand: A 4D “sensory experience” for the costumers which is a box that user can explore the virtual world in it . But is 3D Virtual Travel new technology in the 2d platforms acceptable by the users of the websites?
