If you're planning a holiday trip between Thanksgiving and New Years Day, a great place to consider is Disney World and Epcot Center. If there is one thing that might be able to outshine what awaits eager hands beneath the Christmas tree, it's a chance to party with Mickey Mouse and the rest of the Disney clan. Disney buzzes with activity during the entire holiday season, so it's wise to plan several moths or more in advance. Things swing into action the first weekend in December with the annual Disney holiday parade. But, a great time for a first-time visit is between December 7 and 18th. During this period, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is free with general admission. There is a lot of time to take in as much of the Disney experience as you desire. The holiday stretch is a very crowded time of the year at the complex, and lines can be very long. This is a time when early risers benefit greatly. Between 7:00AM and 9:00AM. there are a lot less people milling about. It;s hard to find a place with more beautiful holiday decorations than the Magic Kingdom. All of the attractions are decked out in exquisite holiday lights. A great example is the Castle Dream Lights Show. Cinderella's fairy godmother gits her with a white light show spectacle on her castle for the holiday season. This is stunning eye cand that should not be missed. And added treat is the wonderful Disney music that commpanies the show.
