Statistically according to U. S. News "81 percent of students graduated on time in the 2012-2013 school year." Now what percent of those students are actually considered successful? Not as many as you think. Success is having the ability to overcome obstacles and achieving a set goal. Challenges can intervene success, this does not mean it can not be overcomed. Success is having grit, having a growth mindset and self discipline. Being able to see struggles or difficulties as a way to improve academic success. People are not born being geniuses but they can make themselves geniuses by working hard and never giving up. They do not become successful in a day or a short time. Being successful means the achievement of a desired vision and planned goals. Furthermore, success can be a certain social status that describes a prosperous person that could also have gained fame for its favorable outcome. Every person thinks different about being prosperous in life and defines success in other ways, so there can not exist a single definition that is suitable for all. Make yourself aware what accomplishment, success and prosperity in general means to you in your life. Some might define success as having luxurious cars and a huge mansion, whereas others consider a life full of joy and happiness with their family as the true meaning of success. Once someone has figured out what is important for them in a personal aspect then they are able to focus on their visions and goals.
