The Power of Marriage by David Brooks’ presents an issue that the institution of marriage is in jeopardy and appears to be in a limbo type state. Now, it’s common practice to have several sexual partners a year and is more widely accepted, to have children out of wed lock. These practices, overtime, have effectively devalued the sacred bonds of marriage. The results of this sinful, free spirited and lack of commitment attitude makes giving up easy and is contributing to the alarming rate of marriages failing.
