This is a personal film about immigration, financial hardship and personal struggle. Many are the time we are so quick to judge. You will hear people say the immigrants are taking over. No empathy, rather hatred. You don’t know what they have been through to get where they are. This movie gives you real people in real scenario then and may be then people will be less judgmental. Riker was inspired by how all the immigrants in New York had a story about crossing the boarder. How they all thought their only hope was crossing the boarder and when they finally crossed the boarder everything was different. Expectations were lost.
