There are several differences between archaic kouros sculpture and the Aphrodite of Kindos sculpture. Firstly, the kouros was made during the Archaic Period. The sculpture has free space between the legs and arms from the body. The kouros is unlike Egyptian sculptures, which are a slap of stone and don’t have the freeness that a human being would have from its body parts. The uniqueness of the archaic kouros is that the Greek artist’s idea of making the sculpture is to show the person’s personality into the sculpture. They use the archaic smile to make the sculpture look alive. Unlike Archaic kouros, the Aphrodite of Knidos is more unique and detailed sculpture. The Aphrodite of Knidos is the first nude female sculpture, and she is the Greek
