The Greek and the Chinese were both creation stories but they both have similarities and differences as, like what was there before earth was created, or how were humans made. There’s alot of similarities and differences. I will be typing an essay about the Greek and Chinese creation stories and explaining how the earth was created and why it was made, who or what existed before earth, how were humans made and why they were made. The Greek creation story, as written “In the beginning there was empty darkness and a bird with black wing named Nyx and his golden egg” there was nothing else other than the bird and the golden egg when the golden egg hatched the two halves became something so one half became the land scape earth and the other became the sky the blue sky. Humans were created from Prometheus. “Prometheus set to work forming men in the image of god and Epimetheus worked on the animals”. In the Chinese creation story the world was made from an immense giant’s death. “With the immense giant’s death, the earth took on new character. His arms and legs became the four directions and the mountains, His blood became the rivers, and his sweat became the rain and the dew. His voice became the thunder, and his breath became the winds. His hair became the grass, and his veins became the roads and paths. His teeth and bones became the minerals and rocks, and his flesh became the soil of the fields.
