Statement of Purpose After passing matriculation I decided to pursue Diploma in civil engineering. I am a very dynamic person and diversity is welcomed by me with open arms. The thing that allured me to plump for Civil Engineering is the fact that it is comprehensive and cross disciplinary stream which come up with employment opportunities in manifold spheres. These spheres are Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Hydraulic Engineering, to name but a few. To strengthen my knowledge in civil engineering I proceeded by pursuing Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering. This six year of study in civil engineering gave me a lot of wisdom and lore in this particular stream. Now, I want to be a master of this field. According to my school of thought, Master of Civil Engineering particularly in the specialized field of Transportation Engineering would be the best possible footstep that I can put forward. As far as my academic background is concerned, I passed my matriculation in 2011 from central board of secondary education with 10 CGPA (95%) and with distinction in every subject. In my Diploma and Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering I studied umpteen subjects adherent to Transportation engineering such as Highway Engineering, Railway Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Bridge and Tunnels Engineering. Elective subjects of Pre-stressed concrete and Ground improvement techniques gave me knowledge about modern practices in structural and geotechnical engineering, respectively. Owing to the aforementioned reasons, I am opting for Masters of Engineering in Transportation
