Chris Hadfield was the first person to live on the ISS International Space station, he was born on August 29th 1959 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. By age 15 he became an air cadet and won an air glider pilot scholarship, by then he had already dreamed of becoming an astronaut. Hadfield had a passion for flying and it never left him, he spent majority of the 1980’s he trained as a fighter pilot for both the Canadian and the american air forces. This period included training at the United States Air Force Test Pilot School at Edwards air force base in California as well as performing research work with NASA. One of his Earliest missions was an 11-day assignment on the ISS in 2001. In November 1995 Hadfield served as Mission Specialist 1 on STS-74,
