There are a bunch of great actors in the film industry. Each actor brings their own unique flavor of acting to the table. While looks do play into the success of an actor, the essence of acting is when an actor can transform them self into the character that is conveyed on the screen. Some of my favorite actors are Mark Ruffalo, Steve Carell, and Emma Stone. Once these actors understand and learn about their character, they can become that character. When an actor can turn into the character in the movie, is when the actor is no longer thought of as an actor by the audience, but rather a character in the movie. I love an actor that I can identify myself with. Mark Ruffalo has been in a wide range of movies such as comedies, romances, dramas, and thrillers.…show more content…
Ruffalo has an attractive grin which is pleasing for the audience. A nice smile makes people feel comfortable. Another recent movie Ruffalo has been is where he play a tough wrestler in the Foxcatcher. In this he had a physical transformation. He became a muscular athletic actor so that his role would be more believable. Another character in Foxcatcher is Steve Carell. Steve Carell plays a psychotic rich wrestling coach. He is angry and misunderstood throughout all of the movie. He sniffles angrily throughout the movie adding to the characters authenticity. Steve Carell can also play funny and romantic movies. Two of these movies are Crazy, Stupid, Love and Date Night. Steve Carell can go from a serious role to a funny goof ball role. When an actor does not always play the same role, it adds originality and more entertainment. Emma Stone is a fiery, energetic, and funny actress. She has a bit of a sarcastic tone to her in her movies, as seen in Easy A, Amazing Spiderman, and Birdman. She knows how to play in adult movies and teen movies. She can appeal to a wide range of audiences, from playing a drug addict to a daughter trying to make it in an Ivy League
