Cervantes originality and imagination in DonQuixote influenced great works through generations. Through his use of complex structures and themes, he was able to pursue his goal to separate history, often honest, from poems, which is beautiful but often tells a lie. Cervantes’ use of psychology and philosophy is evident throughout the book such that we recognize the character’s thoughts, dreams, and secrets through conversations. Cervantes also demonstrates that our interpretation of our surrounding depends on the individual's culture and experience. Additionally, Cervantes allows the readers to have their own opinions on each character. For example, Quixote’s desire to help others is admirable but his failure in life often makes us laugh,
