In the book The Little Ice Age, the author, Brian Fagan, brings his readers through the journey of the climatic changes over time. This time period ranges from the year 800 to the 20th century. The book mainly focus’ on the events that occurred in Europe due to climate change. The author’s main argument is to show how historical events were affected by global warming. He does this by dividing the book into four different sections explaining different scenarios. Some of the major events consisted of; the Irish Potato Famine, the Medieval Warm Period, and the year without a summer, and of course, the Little Ice Age.
