A sizable fire spread throughout an entire neighborhood block on Thursday; no one was injured. The 1200 block of 16th Street was affected by the fire. Raymond and Lisa Brannon’s, of 1233 NW 16th St., house started the fire. Their house was destroyed. Two specific houses nearby were greatly affected. The roof of the house at 1235 NW 16th St., owned by James Callender, caught on fire because of embers that were blown from the Brannons’ house. A Fireman also had to spray water on the house at 1231 NW 16th St., owned by Ralph Cooke. The fire was reported a little after midnight.
