During World War 2 the United States made a controversial call to end the war. They dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan. There were mixed feelings about this decision. On one side people were glad that the U.S. did drop the bomb. On the other side people claimed that it killed millions of innocent people. I believe that the bomb was beneficial to the progression of the war. It didn’t just benefit the war but it helped out on the homestead. They state that it killed million innocent lives. It not only killed military personnel but many more civilians also. It also destroyed most of the city, and housing. It also permanently damaged the land. Japan still has not fully recovered to this day. It also destroyed Japanese economy. It decimated many well established Japanese factories.
