There are various benefits that exercise provides to pregnant women. Only 5% of pregnant women exercise during their pregnancy period. This makes it a poor statistic especially with all the information available proving that exercising during pregnancy is perfectly safe for both the mother and baby. In this case, pregnant women should be encouraged to exercise moderately through this period.
