Ambition means you are very eager or you have a strong desire to achieve something in life. Growing up playing football in the south everyone has the same dreams as a kid, and that is to make it to the National Football League or at least get the opportunity to play college football. Some may be too small or just don’t have the athletic ability as others to make it but when there are over 240+ division 1 universities and also over 380 division 2 and division 3 universities your chances of making it to college playing football or even to the NFL are very slim. My ambition or goal is to become a college football All- American, many would think I would say make it to the NFL because that is normally the goal for anybody playing football. But for me I would like to achieve the status of being an All-American college football player. It takes a lot of hard work dedication and also belief in yourself to achieve any goal you set out to achieve. Being that there are over 100+ on a college football roster an only one person selected for a position to make it to be an All-American team the chances of making it are very hard. As stated there are over a total of 500 different colleges with football programs, with well over 100 players on each roster. Some of the obstacles that you are going to face trying to become an All-American college football player is being able to stand out, you have to be able to set yourself out from others. I have spoken with a former teammate of mine who was a All-American in college he stated “It`s tough you have to be able to manage your normal day life and also don’t get so focused on a goal that you play for yourself and not the team.” To me that meant that although you have personal dreams don’t let it detour away from the team goals, which is to always to win a national championship in
