Genesis 1:26: "And God said... let them [human beings] have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."(King James Bible, "Genesis 1:26,"). God has given us the right over every other animal and who are we to question a God? It is obvious to me it is right to use animals for our research experiments. Who are we to question a god? If you are still not convinced, there protrudes many other ways why we should use animals for experiments. Testing animals helps us save human lives, save the animals themselves, and animal researchers treat animals humanely, both for the animals' sake and they make better test subjects than…show more content…
According to the California Biomedical Research Association “If vaccines were not tested on animals, millions of animals would have died from rabies, distemper, feline leukemia, infectious hepatitis virus, tetanus, anthrax, and canine parvo virus.” (California Biomedical Research Association 1). We humans do not just research for ourselves, we also research for the animals also. An example is heart pacemakers for animals that have heart disease and remedies for glaucoma and hip dysplasia, we cannot refer to the human body for these types of things if they are meant for saving animals our structures can be entirely different. If we seek to save their lives we have to know how their body structures work and that requires animal testing, they cannot do it themselves. Currently we also use this research for to prevent animal extinction. By knowing how their body works and their nature we can know how to effectively place them in habitable locations if their homes are destroyed due to deforestation while also knowing how to promote mating if their population is dangerously low. An example of this is currently in some regions of Australia koalas which is a endanger spice due to the epidemic of sexually transmitted chlamydia can be saved with animal testing to produce vaccines to cure chlamydia in koalas. So I guess you can’t say animal testing endangers
