The novel and film for Animal Farm, share many similarities, however they both have many differences. For example, In both the novel and the film, Squealer manipulates the commandments and changes them to correspond with napoleon’s wants. The director leaves squealer’s manipulative ways in the movie to physically show, how he is easily able to convince the other animals that nothing has changed. On the contrary, the novel for Animal Farm has Old Major dying of natural causes, While in the film, it has him dying of a gunshot. I believe Orwell writes his book in this manner because, the man Old Major was based on, Karl Marx, died of natural causes. Other wise, I believe the director neglects to add this in because, it would have added more run
